We have no idea what package they offer there.  Please either contact 
them, or use the source package from our pages at sourceforge.

Broken how?  I.e. since when exactly is this broken?  What exactly did 
you do to break it?

Unless you happen to have a totally broken .gnuplot start-up script file 
dangling around somewhere, that's impossible.
