Hallo! I just found a problem in gnuplot version G N U P L O T Version 4.2 patchlevel 2 last modified 31 Aug 2007 System: MS-Windows 32 bit running on Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600). I downloaded the latest version Version 4.2 patchlevel 3 last modified Mar 2008 System: MS-Windows 32 bit but there ist no change. Problem: Whe a diagramm containig "points" is copied to clipborad (e.g. via right mouse button in the graph-window) the graph which arrives e.g. in MS Word (MS Word 2002 10.6835.6830 , SP3) is corrupted (horizontal lines instead of points). I have the same problem when pasting into Corel-Draw, but it ist ok when pasting into MS paint (which uses bitmap-graphics) Example: plot a sin-curve with 30 points: gnuplot> set samples 30 gnuplot> plot sin(x) with points Result in Word (screenshot after standard paste): Using another point-type doesn't help. However, when I include the graph as a bitmap-image (copy as ... (?) / in german word-version: "Einfügen als ...") or if the graph is directly pasted into Thunderbird-email it is ok : I still have an old gnuplot version (3.7). With this version copy/paste into word workes without problem G N U P L O T MS-Windows 32 bit version 3.7 patchlevel 0 last modified Thu Jan 14 19:34:53 BST 1999 This could also be a MS or MS Word problem. But as it worked in gnuplot 3.7 , I think a gnuplot-expert should lock into this problem. Thank you !
