Gentlemen,
If you want to plot in parametric mode (set angles degrees) the ellipse X(t)=1.5*cos(t-45), Y(t)= sin(t-45), you get just a horizontal ellipse. The 45 degree phase shift is not seen by the program!
If you reverse the positions in the argument to (-45+t), you get a single point .7071, -.7071!
Clearly, when an argument ( ) is presented in parametric mode, the program sees only the first element in the argument and nothing else!
Is there any way of overcoming this? Is this a known issue in Gnuplot?
