So sorry.  You're right, I completely missed that.
Great, so the demo works on both x11 and wxt.
And one more item can be crossed off my TODO list for 4.2

Hmm. You're right about the prompt.=20
But I don't have to hit ctrl-c;   a simple <cr> is sufficient.
This is an old, old problem when mixing terminal input and
mouse-channel input.  I have never found a general solution,
although it may be possible to provide an explicit reset command
of some sort that could be called from a script like this one
when it is known in advance that the problem will be triggered.
