[Gnuplot-info] multiplot print

1. how do I print a multiplot plot using commands (not mouse)?
   for the simple plots, I use "set terminal postscript; set output
   'printer-name'".
   I thought that
set terminal postscript
set output 'printer-name'
set multiplot
....
unset multiplot
   would work but it does not!

2. I created a multiplot:

gnuplot> set multiplot
multiplot> set size 0.5,0.5
multiplot> set origin 0,0
multiplot> plot sin(x)
multiplot> unset arrow
multiplot> set origin 0.5,0.5
multiplot> plot cos(x)
multiplot> set origin 0.5,0
multiplot> plot tan(x)
multiplot> set origin 0,0.5
multiplot> plot atan(x)

   then printed it using mouse.
   the result does not fit the paper (I expected automatic scaling).
   unfortunately, this doe not work with data plot.

3. is it possible to add a general title (header? footer?) to a
   multiplot?

4. why is the timestamp printed for each individual plot, not the whole
   multiplot page?

5. how do I increase the number of old lines that I can see with scrollbar?

Just the same way you would do it with normal plots.

Please be more specific.  *How* does it fail to work?  One thing to be
careful about: you'll want to re-set 'set size' and 'set origin' to their
original values before you 'set term post ; set output ; set multiplot'

'Using mouse' how, on what platform?

Not very easily.  You may need a dummy plot at full size, or at least
a 'set label' command given in 'screen' coordinates carefully fiddled
to just the right position.

Because the concept of a "multiplot page" doesn't exist in current 
gnuplot.  It's called a multiplot because every single plot works just
the same way as a normal plot outside multiplot mode.

win32, right mouse click, select "print" from menu.

this works for "plot sin(x)" but not "plot data '-'".
