[Gnuplot-info] multiple: global title

I want to add a title that would encompass all plots on the multiplot page.
How do I do that?
if this is not possible, maybe I could write to the page directly?

Either by doing a dummy plot (all elements but the title turned off, 
fixed ranges, data outside) at full size as part of the multiplot, or 
via 'set label' using 'screen' coordinates (--> help coordinates).
