[Gnuplot-info] Calculating area

Can I calculate with gnuplot the area under a graph. In MS Excel I add the
results of (x value) * (y value ). Can I do something like that with gnuplot
or there are other tools for calculating the area under a graph?

Depends on the graph. ;-p

If it's a function plot, have a look at the 'bivariat.dem' example 
script that came with the program.

... I hope you don't, because that is *not* going to give you the area 
under the graph.
