[Gnuplot-info] Custom color without a key

Hi,

I want a histogram that uses my custom colors for the bars, but doesn't 
show the key/legend. So here is what I have:

    /style line 1 lc rgb '#4f81bd' # dark blue//
    //set style line 2 lc rgb '#9d3d3a' # dark red//
    //set style line 3 lc rgb '#7d9844' # dark green//
    //set style line 4 lc rgb '#E26B0A' # dark orange//
    //set style line 5 lc rgb '#60497A' # dark purple//
    //set style line 6 lc rgb '#80C535' # lime//
    //set style increment user//
    //
    //set boxwidth 0.5//
    //set style fill solid//
    //set style data histogram//
    //
    //unset key//    # Problem is here
    //plot for[i=2:7] "bar.dat" u i:xticlabels(1) title "test"//
    //
    //pause -1//
    /

And my data:

The colors work fine if I remove the statement "unset key", but the 
moment I add the statement, the colors go back to the default. Does 
anyone know how to fix this? I'm using gnuplot 4.6 patchlevel 3.

I do not know why it behaves like that, but the fix is to request
the line style explicitly in the plot command:

   plot for[i=2:7] "bar.dat" u i:xticlabels(1) ls i-1 title "test"
