Thanks Ethan. Sorry for not having been clear enough in my question. I
understand GNUPlot creates 2D projection of 3D data, but when I use the
x11 terminal, I'm assuming GNUPlot uses some kind of 3D data structure
to create the graph that I can rotate, zoom, etc. Well, would that be
possible to use the same data structure to create a u3d file that I can
incorporate into a pdf using LaTeX? That would be quite awesome.
Alternatively, is there an open-source alternative that would allow me
to do so? Thanks a lot! Martin
