[Gnuplot-info] Displaying times (for xdata time) as local times rather than UTC

Hello,

By default, gnuplot displays times (with "set xdata time") as UTC.

Is there a way to tell gnuplot to display it as localtime?

I don't know if there is a time zone aware way of doing it, but I just 
add an offset (in seconds) to the time column, something like:

plot "mydatafile.dat" using (timecolumn(1) + 3600):2

- assuming the times are coming from a file.
