[Gnuplot-info] how to plot a row ?

hi all,
my data are z-values only. i can matrix to plot them.

It is no problem to plot a certain column like:
plot "data" using 3

is there any way to plot a row ?

a column is plotted without the 'matrix' option
using the line number and the data position (here:
the 5th entry, counts from 1) in the input line:

plot ... using 0:5

a row is plotted with the 'matrix' option using the
x and the z coordinate ('using 1:3') and selecting
a specific data block (here: 5th line, counts from 0):

plot ... matrix using 1:3 every :::4::4
