[Gnuplot-info] where to save .txt file

Hi GNUplot users,

 

I am a beginenr with GNUplot, and I save .txt data files inside GNUplot, but
when I want to plot the data, I don't know why I see this warning:Skipping
unreadable file "test.dat" , No data in plot!

 

Do you know what the reason is ?

No, you don't.  gnuplot is a program, not a storage facility.  So 
wherever it is you're actually saving those files, it's not "inside 
gnuplot".

Well, the message is pretty clear, isn't it?

There is no file that gnuplot can read with the name you told it.
