[Gnuplot-info] Using Gnuplot under Cygwin without X11

I'm running gnuplot 4.2 under Cygwin, and I'm generating PDF output from a =
command-line invocation of gnuplot.It quite happily generates the output al=
most the way I want, but after it runs I asynchornously receive the notific=
ation "unable to open display :0.0".I'm not running an X server because I'm=
 doing command-line only stuff from a bash shell.The message seems benign b=
ecause I'm not using X for anything anyway.So:  is there a way to convince =
gnuplot that it doesn't need to open the display?Or failing that, is there =
a way to specify a 'null' display and so suppress the warning?ThanksRoy

Is your gnuplot script somehow trying to reset athe terminal to one that
uses xserver?

There's not normally any need to do that.  You only get that message if 
gnuplot sees a specific need to open the plot window.  For a very simple 
example:

	echo "set term dumb ; plot x" | gnuplot

doesn't output any X11-related messages whatsoever.  If your plot script 
behaves differently, you'll have to show it to us for further analysis.
