[Gnuplot-info] Plot points on grid

Hello

I am using currently using some x, y, z data to generate a plot with a grid. I 
am doing this by setting dgrid3d which forms a grid based on the values of the 
x, y, z data and everything looks good. 

However, is it possible to show the x, y, z, plot points on the grid at all?

Of course.  Just don't use dgrid3d :-)

Do you really need dgrid3d to make your data grid-structured?

If your absolutely do need dgrid3d, see 'help table' for a method to run 
it as a separate process that writes the gridded data to a new file, so 
you can turn dgrid3d off again and plot the gridded data as mesh, 
combined with the original data as points.
