[Gnuplot-info] dotted or dashed lines (gnuplot 4.2 rc1)

I'm looking for a terminal type that supports:

* plotting lines with linestyle of dotted/dashed 
* applying a color to the above dotted/dashed lines
* ideally change the linewidth of this colored dotted/dashed line
* terminal type that be easily embedded into HTML and viewed with base 
web browser


I've been using png without the dashed/dotted line support and had thought
this might have been in the works for png in 4.2.  But that doesn't seem to 
be the case.  

Suggestions?

Define "base" web browsers.  SVG would be your best bet if the target 
audience can display it.  Failing that, you'll have to generate 
postscript and render it to PNG or GIF.
