[Gnuplot-info] 'set terminal' cannot set to x11

Hi All

I am trying to set the terminal to x11, since i noticed that gnuplot
wasnt displaying the plot window. I had just built the 4.1
version from the cvs.

I tried using --with-x option from the configure script but it still
doesnt work. The X11 also does not get displayed among the list of
terminals in the output of 'set terminal' command, which is obvious.

I could've used 4.0 from APT but I need 4.1 for the new histogram
features.

Any help would be appreciated.

You don't have the necessary packages installed to compile X11 
applications.  The critical on will be called 'x-devel' or something
like that.  Install it, and re-do the gnuplot build starting at the 
'configure' step.
