[Gnuplot-info] problem with displaying graph with gnuplot

Hello,

I have installed gnuplot 4.0 patchlevel 0 and my problem is that the 
terminal type is set by default to "Unknown" while the terminal type list 
doesn't include "x11".
I am very new to unix and don't know what to do.
I am using KDE from mandriva 10.1 .
Could you help me ?

This becoming a FAQ.  You don't have the necessary packages installed
for compiling programs running under X11.  Without those, the x11
driver can't be built.  Look for a package called x-devel or similar.
