[Gnuplot-info] GNUplot 3d grids

Hi all

Thanks for GNUplot., I enjoy using it!

I am creating 3Dplots that show trajectories, created from 3Dwaypoints =
in a datafile.=20

To improve the clearity of the plots I would like to add grids. Not only =
in the x,y-plane, but in the x,z and y,z-plane as well.
Could you please let me know if and how this can be done?

gnuplot doesn't do x or y grid lines on the x-z or y-z planes.  Only z 
lines are drawn (by 'set grid ztics').

what's the reason that gnuplot does not plot x and y lines in those planes?
In my case it would be very useful.
Maybe I could plot these lines by hand?
