[Gnuplot-info] Tracing a 3D curve with color gradience

Hello:

I would like to trace a curve in 3D using color
gradience, through one or both ways:

1) progressing in color as away from the starting
point along the curve.

2) progressing in color in the z direction.

Could you please let me know if there is a way to do
this?  I really appreciate an answer.

There is: the 'palette' option to the splot command, as documented in 
'help pm3d' and 'help with' and 'help splot with'.
