Hi Group Members,
I needed some information regarding how to set the
background color of a GNU plot when using "plot"
The details of my environment are as follows:
gnuplot version: 4.0
machine details: Sun Solaris
Options used by me:
set terminal png color
I am searching for option(s) that sets the background
of my plot to Gray colour. Kindly provide me with the
information regarding this.
Also, I am not subscribed to this group list and reply
me to this email id (toraj438@...) only.
Thanks & Regards

If that line didn't cause you an error message, your gnuplot executable
was built with the old-fashioned, direct PNG driver. Bad idea.
Get and install libgd, then rebuild gnuplot, so you get the "real" PNG
driver of version 4.0. Then read 'help png' carefully and you'll find
how to set the background colour.
