[Gnuplot-info] improving line options

Gentlemen:

Presently, dashed and dotted lines can  be used with  only black lines of a
single width.

In future versions please consider allowing dashed and dotted lines in lines
that are colored and in any width.

Sometimes you might wish to separate plots into groups, for which the same
color would apply to all plots in the group.  Yet, you would want to
distinguish between particular elements in that group.  Hence, letting
colored and broader lines be modified with dots and dashes.

That's not nearly as true as you think it is.  Limitations like this are 
imposed by the target platforms, usually.
