[Gnuplot-info] Reg: C Interface

Hi,

	I updated recently gnuplot with the latest version(4.0). When i am
calling gnuplot at bash it is working with 4.0 version( i am able to
change the view point of the 3-d plot). But when i am using the 'C
interface' i am getting an older version ( i am unable to use my mouse to 
rotate the plot). Anyidea why it is behaving like this?.

Which "C interface", exactly?

That conclusion may well be premature.  Absence of mouse interaction can 
be caused by commands, or by the sheer fact that you're driving gnuplot 
indirectly.  Please try to extract the actual version of gnuplot (use 
'show version') to make sure what you got.

Hi,

	Thanks for a fast reply. I am using the C interface developed by
"N. Devillard". It is using the latest version only(checked it with show
version :) ). But the only thing is i need to make the mouse to be set
explicitly for the C interface, where as we need not do that explicitly
when we call gnuplot at bash.

That's done on purpose --- it usually makes little to no sense at all to
have two asynchronous command channels to the same gnuplot session open
at the same time, which is what allowing mousing during non-interactive
operation would be doing.

Hi all,

	can i specify color for a point in the data file?. Please check 
the following data

	1 2 1
	2 3 1 
	3 4 1
	4 5 2
	5 6 2
	6 7 2

I want the first 3 points to be plotted in one color, and then the next 3
points to be plotted with another color. I know replot will help. But is
there any other way to give this data in one file and asking to plot?.

	set view map
	splot .. with points palette
