[Gnuplot-info] loading an image into a gnuplot

I would like to load a 2-d raster image into gnuplot so taht I can plot
temperature contours over a simple 3d map that is already available.

I found a nice bit of code for plotting pre-fab'd images but gnuplot 4.0.0
complains:

gnuplot>  plot "ROADNet-HPWREN-sensors-wide.rgb"  binary with rgbimage
                                                        ^
         2d binary files not yet supported

I wonder if someone can say what version of gnuplot that feature works in?

It works in the very same version you took that example from.  I.e. the 
CVS work-in-progress version.
