'maxrows' is not really needed, it produces two columns
of keys. if you need this, upgrade to gnuplot 4.4
'notitle' suppresses the key for the specific plot.
'0/0' means 'undefined' (you could also use 'NaN') and
results in a plot which is empty but has a key which
you may change via the 'title' option.
