I'm trying to figure out how (if possible) I can do the following with
Gnuplot.
Say I have a set of x (where x<10) events. 1 timestamp for each event
finish.
I'd like to see if I can plot the events as a timeline from ,0->end, for two
different process runs, with the intention of comparing the overlap between
events.
Here an asci example
0------>ev1----->ev2----->ev3---->ev1-->ev2->ev3----------->ev1--->ev2
1-->ev1----->ev2---->ev2---->ev1--------->ev3----->ev1------------>ev2
Something like that, if that makes sense. I have the specific timing
information in CPU cycles when each event finishes.
I thought of using histograms to see the overlap for each event on a single
process, Thus two histograms per data set but perhaps some of you have a
better solution to this problem.
