[Gnuplot-info] limit of parameter number

Dear Plotters,

Gnuplot returns "function contains too many parameters", if I use a function
with 13 parameters. Using "only" 12 parameters Gnuplot returns no error alert.
is there any limit of parameters, which can be used in one function?

yes, there is a limit.
it's written in the manual under 'user-defined variables and functions':
version 4.2 and below: 5 parameters
version 4.4 and above: 12 parameters
