to have both '0's aligned, the y2axis range needs to be a scaled yaxis range.
to get the scaling factor you could do a dummy plot in order to set some
internal variables and then use these variables (GPVAL_Y_MIN, GPVAL_Y_MAX,
GPVAL_Y2_MIN, GPVAL_Y2_MAX) to calculate the scaling factor.
