[Gnuplot-info] Help! Draw slope on loglog graph

Hi.
This is driving me insane!
I've just created a graph of data points on a log-log scale graph and it
looks fine. But I need to add a line to the graph that represents the slope
of the graph. As the data is a power law the slope should be a straight
line.

Any suggestions?

without knowing how your data look like, something like
this should work:

a=1
plot 'datafilename' using 1:2 with points, a*x

So fit an exponential to your data an plot it.
