Hi,

I am a student of Adelaide Universiy, Australia. I am using "gnuplot" for
drawing graph. But, at the moment I am facing a problem of plotting graph from
two different data files. I can explain my problem as follows:

Say, I have two data files: 'file1' and 'file2'. file1 contains two columns 'A'
and 'B'. Also, file2 contains two columns 'C' and 'D'. I need to plot 'C'
against 'A'.

How can it be done?

In practical, I have 8 columns in each data files.

If you could solve this problem and reply to me at your earliest convenience
that would be a great help.

plot '< paste file1 file2' using 1:3

(you need to have gnu coreutils installed)
