[Gnuplot-info] splot with non uniform data?

Hi,

I have a nice set of data (geographical coordinates (x, y) and
temperature (z)) which I would like to plot as a "heat map".

The problem is that the coodrinates are not arranged in a matrix but
are rather random.

Is it possible to use gnuplot to generate this kind of graph? I want
to intrapolate between the data points and extrapolate outside them.

have a look at 'set dgrid3d'
