    I want to demonstrate some route about the light beam in my experiment, can I use gnuplot to show it?

In principle, you can do any kind of line graphics with gnuplot, but it is only practical if you have the paths either in functional or tabulated form. To create 2D illustrations by hand, I would recommend using a program such as xfig instead.
