Hi, I hope somebody can help. It would be much appreciated. I was using the script below, which was working perfectly on my Mac with an older operating system (I think it was Tiger) and with gnuplot 4.2 I think. About 2 years ago I erased everything and installed the OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and then installed gnuplot 4.6. When I try to load the script, it sends the following message: "plotdelaunay_symbols_keys_2", line 20: ';' expected and the prompt remains in multiplot> The line 20 is just one line before where the second plot command starts inside multiplot. Can anybody help? Thank you very much in advance. Hi Agustin Have you checked that the line breaks in your script and in your operating system match? Maybe your new OS uses a different convention. That doesn't mean that you have a "problem with multiplot", though.
And indeed multiplot has nothing to do with it.
Removing all parts of your script that still leave the problem intact,
one arrives at something like this:
gnuplot> p x w p pt 09
^
';' expected
The problem is that you accidentally created an ill-formed octal number.
gnuplot's syntax is like C in many respects; up to and including
hexadecimal and octal integer constants. So lose the leading zeroes,
and things will work.

Thank you very much in advance. Does the same plot command work if it is not inside a multiplot? [aside] Why would you want multiplot for this?
