Hey there,
I would like to use pm3d in map view "with points palette", in order to
color points that are distributed in XY, according to some 2rd value (no
problems with that).
what I would also like to do is to superimpose this colorful splot (in map
view) on some greyscale image (which can be displayed independantly with
gnuplot), in order for the reader to understand where are these XY locations
in the image.
the problem is, that in order to color the datapoints, i am using a color
palette and when i draw the image and then replot the data on top,
everything gets the same palette.....the greyscale image becomes colored
according to its pixel values (i guess) and the data points get the same
color (as their range is much smaller).
to make a long story short:
how do i assign different palettes to 2 datasets on the same chart?
