[Gnuplot-info] data mapping

Hi,

The values of the data I want to plot are in the range
of 0-65535, integers only.

But they represent float values in the range of 0.9 to 2.7

Is it possible to hide the fact, that this range of float values is
represented by integers completly from the user...will say: 
The axis marking should be according to the float values, the
values printed when sliding with the cursor over the graph 
should be floats, a zoom box (this blue box one can create with the
right mouse button) should print float values and so on...???

You want to study the documentation, starting with "help using".
