[Gnuplot-info] flipping image

Hello Gnuplotteers

I am using the following code to plot an ascii image file:

unset key
set size square
set tics out
set palette gray
unset border
unset xtics
unset ytics
unset colorbox
plot 'tSNR_file.dat' matrix with image


The image lloks fine except for being upside down. How can I flip it?

set xrange [*:*] reverse

The up-down flip uses yrange rather than xrange but it works now. Thank
you very much!

[Gnuplot-info] How to vary color within one text label?

Hi guys.

i would like to have something like this in my plot title (or in my 
cblabel definition):

set title "A nice plot title. positive values <-[typed in red color] 
mean this, negative values <-[typed in blue color] mean that."

blue and read are margins of color palette of a pm3d surface plot.

is it possible somehow ?

if you compose the title using several labels, yes:

set title "A nice plot title.\n\n"
set label 1 "positive values " at graph 0.5,screen 0.93 right \
    textcolor rgb "red"
set label 2 "mean this" at graph 0.5,screen 0.93 left
set label 3 "negative values " at graph 0.5,screen 0.90 right \
    textcolor rgb "blue"
set label 4 "mean that" at graph 0.5,screen 0.90 left
