[Gnuplot-info] plotting an arbitrary number of data file columns

Hi all.

I would like to use gnuplot to plot a data file with an arbitrary
number of columns, all plotted using 1: and the respective column.  Is
there a way to do this so that my gnuplot command file doesn't need to
know the number of columns in the data file ahead of time?

I've already discovered 'set key autotitle columnhead', so that much
is working nicely.

if you don't care for some warning messages, just iterate over a large
enough number of columns (here:100):

plot for [i=1:100] 'datafilename' using 1:i
