[Gnuplot-info] How to crop with cairopdf and reduce space between multiple titels

Hello!


I'm  having  no luck in reducing the space between the left border of the pdf-
output and the y-axis nor with reducing the space between  titels.  I  have  a
perfect  output  with  png  so I think it should be possible with pdf as well.
"set lmargin -60" ist not changing anything and about the titel spacing I have
no clue. Can anybody help me with this?
The  propper  cropping  is important for me as I'm running out of space in the
doc I need it.

Which titles are that?

That's because it is negative.  How "help margin" might have failed to 
get that point across evades me.

Titels from:
plot  a * exp (-x*b) t titel(a,b) lt 1,  c * exp (-x*d) t titel(c,d) lt 2,  e * exp (-x*f) t titel(e,f) lt 3,  g * exp (-x*h) t titel(g,h) lt 4, '< sed "s/ 0/ ?0/g" dosis.dat' using 1:3 t "C_2: 1" ls 1 with lp, '< sed "s/ 0/  ?0/g" dosis.dat' using 1:4  t "C_2: 2" ls 2 with lp, '< sed "s/ 0/  ?0/g" dosis.dat' using 1:5 t "C_2: 3" ls 3 with lp, '< sed "s/ 0/  ?0/g" dosis.dat' using 1:6 t "C_2: 4" ls 4 with l

The  y-spacing  is  nearly  twice  as  wide  as  the png output and the titels
overpaint the plot if I increase the font size, which is too small now.

I also tried svg  output  which  is  OK  except  the  titels  are  not  spaced
equidistantly (their lines however are).

I'm sorry, mixed it up with setting the label position:( Got it now.

Then you'll want to have a look at option "spacing" in "help set key".

Different terminals use different fonts, so that's not a problem in and 
of itself.  Vertical spacing of key entries depends on the driver's idea 
of the font size.  If the driver's idea disagrees with the actual size 
of a font, the key will appear spaced excessively loosely.

Also beware of the 'enhanced' text string processing.
