The important point seems to be making sure a floating point operation
is performed:
gnuplot> print 3/2
1
gnuplot> print 3./2
1.5
So I think f(x) should be defined as:
f(x)=3*x**2/((1.5-x)**2*(x+3))*exp(-(1./(1-2./3*x)+4./3*log(x+3)+5./3*log(abs(3./2-x))-3*log(3)-1+5./3*log(2))/6)
