Dear list,

until now I used gnuplot together with inkscape and psfrag to produce
plots for publications. Now I have switched to inkscape 0.47 together
with gnuplot 4.4 (on ubuntu). Inkscape changed the eps export to cairo
and now my favourite toolchain is no longer.

I tried terminal postscript eps together with the psfrag package without
success, I tried terminal epslatex and found it to be to complicated.

What do I need:
x/y label in latex font, \"symbol" and lines with different colours and
different styles (B/W printer compatibility).

Please tell me how you achieve that. Thank you very much in advance!
