I'm trying to draw the contour of a surface by mean of line levels (set
contour...) and colours (pm3d map).
All works fine but I'm not able to change the lower limit of the range of
the colour scale (it put by default 0.8 as lower limit altough I defined 0.5
as lower limit). The upper limit works fine. I post you the script and a
part of the input data.
Thanks for the help
SCRIPT:
set terminal postscript eps enhanced monochrome
set output "sest_correct.eps"
set style line 1 linetype 2 lw 0.1
set dgrid3d 101,101
set isosamples 202
set pm3d map
set contour base
set cntrparam levels incremental 0.5, 0.1, 1.5
set palette defined (0.5 "white", 1.5 "black")
set nosurface
set view 0,0
set noclabel
set size square
set xtics ("1" 1, "25" 25.25, "50" 50.75, "75" 75.75,"100" 101)
set ytics ("1" 1, "25" 25.25, "50" 50.75, "75" 75.75,"100" 101)
unset key
set zrange [0.5:1.5]
splot [1:101] [1:101] "xavi_correct.out" using 1:2:3 with l ls 1

I attach you the image and also the complete input file. As you can see from the photo another (little) problem is that it draws only the bottom and eastern border of the picture http://www.nabble.com/file/p12774595/xavi_correct.out xavi_correct.out http://www.nabble.com/file/p12774595/sest_correct.pdf sest_correct.pdf trinka wrote: > > I'm trying to draw the contour of a surface by mean of line levels (set > contour...) and colours (pm3d map). > > All works fine but I'm not able to change the lower limit of the range of > the colour scale (it put by default 0.8 as lower limit altough I defined > 0.5 as lower limit).
