[Gnuplot-info] slow motion curve

Hi.

I have already drawn a 3D curve on gnuplot. My question is, can I see this
curve drawn in slow motion? Thanks.

Only indirectly, if you make the range of the plot parametrizable (e.g. 
use parametric mode and manipule t range), and then animate the 
parameter like it's done in 'animate.dem'.

Hi.

I think you misunderstood my question.
I dont want it to rotate in slow motion but to draw the graph in slow speed.
For example, sin(x) in 2D plot, I want to see the sin(x) itself being drawn.
Meaning at the start of the plot, the plot is empty and as time goes by,
sin(x) will be drawn slowly.
Is that possible to do in gnuplot?

I don't think so.  You appear to not have grasped my answer, though.  So 
to repeat: the answer is, no, that's not possible in current gnuplot. 
But you can do a rough approximation by doing a re-plot animation.

Hi bittersweet,

i think this answer is bit late but better than never ;).

in order to have that "dynamic" effect , i remember using
an interface for c called "gnuplot_i" which is based on
unix pipes.  For more info check out the gnuplot homepage.
It's easy to handle, a bit tricky sometimes and creates lots of data
files under /tmp  :P.

How do I manipule t range? 
I have tried adapting from 'animate.dem' but it does not work.
