I am using gnuplot version 4.0.
I am accessing gnuplot functions in a C program by using an interface
program.
I am using the multiplot feature of the gnuplot. Initially, I haven't
set the key. So the legends were getting printed on the upper right
corner of the graph. But as the data in the graph increased, the legends
were getting overwritten on the data. So I wanted the legends to be
shifted below the graph.
I am using "set key below" to achieve the same. But then the legends
are getting printed repetitively. Suppose I have a multiplot graph with
three legends, then the first legend is getting printed thrice, second
twice and the last one is getting printed once. In the default case
also, the legends were getting printed in the same manner. But since
there starting position was same, they were appearing as if printed only
once. When I am using "set key below", then there starting position
differs. I have also tried using "set key below x,y" to fix the
starting position. But in that case, the legends are getting printed
vertically. I want it to be displayed horizontally.
I am using gnuplot 4.0 on a 64 bit linux machine with gcc version
3.4.5.
