Well, not exactly. I updated the placement of key, but mainly in "plot" mode, not "splot" mode. (As discussed previously, unifying the two versions of key and margin layout would be nice.)
There is a patch on SourceForge that fixes the immediate issue Mike raised, if it breaks something else I'm not sure. (One line, can't hurt too much.)
