Something overlooked in multimesh.dem?

I was paging through PostScript versions of all.dem and noticed one of the whale plots uses points.  I'm OK with that, if that is what was intended.  Looks slightly odd and inconsistent with the rest of the demo, so I'm just wondering if

splot "whale.dat" index 12 with points

is what the programmer originally intended.

Yes.  He actually spelled out 'with points', so that's what he wanted.

And if he didn't, then he's kept remarkably quiet about it for about a 
decade...
