Well, guys, I'm afraid you may have missed the single most important 
ingredient: somebody who has the time and nerve to actually process the 
release.

I for one am in the process of changing jobs and towns right now, 
implying no internet access for elongated periods, and not terribly much 
free time to spend on gnuplot.  I.e. unless we can find somebody else to 
actually do it, nothing will happen for at least about one more month.

Any takers?
