By "route" I take it you mean path.
looking at your png , load route ; plot route does not seem to make sense.
I suggest you get your commands working by hand before trying to make it
work programatically. If you don't understand gnuplot commands , read
the help don't post beginner's errors here, this is a developer list not
user help.
