That would appear to be a problem with the compiler your installed on your machine. Why would you have a compiler for PowerPC targets running on a non-PowerPC machine?

I've downloaded GNU 5.0.0 and followed the instructions here >>> https://bhou.wordpress.com/2011/09/13/how-to-install-gnuplot-in-mac-os-x-lion/ . I'm not sure where I'm going wrong when the terminal says Launch of "gnuplot" failed: the PowerPC architecture is no longer supported.

Okay. I have no idea, but I guess if I can get the appropriate compiler ... Although its just been done using the OSX download link on gnuplot.info
I'm running Yosemite and am able to build 5.0. I also have the latest Xcode installed.
