The "offset" keyword fails to operate as documented for version 5.4. on either REHEL 7 (x11) or RHEL 8 (qt). For example:

%> gnuplot

    G N U P L O T
    Version 5.4 patchlevel 2 last modified 2021-06-01

    Copyright (C) 1986-1993, 1998, 2004, 2007-2021
Thomas Williams, Colin Kelley and many others

    gnuplot home: http://www.gnuplot.info
faq, bugs, etc: type "help FAQ"
immediate help: type "help" (plot window: hit 'h')
warning: iconv failed to convert degree sign

Terminal type is now 'x11'
gnuplot> set key top center Left reverse
gnuplot> set key offset 10,0
                 ^
         unknown key option

I'd like to know if this gets resolved.

"set key offset" was added in 5.4 patchlevel 5 (version reports as 5.4.5), release date Oct 2022.
It seems your documentation is slightly newer than your executable.
