I installed gp526-win32-mingw_2.exe on my Windows XP (32-bit) machine. When I tried to run it I got "... failed to start because d1d2.dll was not found".
(Then I found the gp460-win32-setup.exe that I used to have on that computer and that was fine, so I'm happy.)

    Sorry, but the compiler tools we use dropped support for XP a while ago. Also XP does not offer Direct2D support. Having said that, it is should be still be possible to create an XP compatible executable from the source.
    The bug that should be fixed is that the installer did not refuse to run in the first place.
