Current version of gnuplot doesn't work with lua 5.3. I'm attaching the file that makes it compatible with lua 5.3, even though I'm not 100 % sure whether it remains compatible with lua 5.1 for example. I tested it against lua 5.2 though.
Applied, thanks. The 5.1 docs say the same thing as the 5.2 docs so I think it's OK there also.
